RankBusiness (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the LonelinessAI mobile application (the “Service”). Our Service is designed to provide emotional companionship and AI-driven conversation to support well-being.
Because our Service involves personal and emotional interactions, we are committed to the highest standards of data privacy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
- Information Collection and Use
To provide a personalized companion experience, we collect information that allows our AI to understand and remember your preferences.
Account Data: Name, email, and age (to ensure compliance with age restrictions).
Conversation Data: We store the text and/or voice messages you exchange with your AI companion to maintain “long-term memory” and conversation continuity.
Emotional & Sensitive Data: During chats, you may voluntarily share information regarding your mood, health, or personal life. This is treated as highly sensitive data.
AI Training Data: We may use de-identified (anonymous) snippets of conversations to improve the empathy and accuracy of our AI models. We never use identifiable personal conversations for public AI training. - Emotional Safety & Limitations
Not a Crisis Service: Our AI is a companion, not a licensed therapist or crisis intervention service.
Safety Triggers: Our system is programmed to recognize language indicating self-harm or immediate danger. In such cases, the AI may provide resources for human-led help (e.g., crisis hotlines) but cannot take physical action. - Log Data
We collect information that your device sends whenever you use our Service (“Log Data”). This may include your IP address, device model, operating system, and time-stamped logs of app activity to help us troubleshoot technical issues. - Data Encryption and Storage
Encryption: All conversation data is encrypted both in transit (while being sent) and at rest (while stored on our servers).
Anonymization: We prioritize “Privacy by Design,” meaning we separate your identity (email/name) from your chat logs in our internal databases whenever possible. - Service Providers
We use third-party AI infrastructure providers (such as OpenAI or Google Cloud) to process natural language. These providers are strictly prohibited from using your private chat data to train their own global models and must adhere to our rigorous security standards. - Children’s Privacy
Our Service is intended for users aged 18 and older (or 13+ with parental consent, depending on your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If we discover such data, it is deleted immediately. - Your Rights (Access and Deletion)
You have full control over your digital companion’s memory:
Memory Reset: You can request to clear the AI’s memory of your past conversations at any time within the app settings.
